Above is a Pyramix system by Merging Technologies. It is configured for 64 in-out AES/EBU. The computer is a dual 2.8GHz Xeon server with a built in RAID array. It was used to record Jackson Browne's summer 2003 tour with Steve Earle and Keb' Mo'. To the right are 32 Grace mic preamps racked with Apogee AD-8000 converters. Another identical rack was taken on tour for a total of 64 inputs at a maximum of 48KHz/24 bit.
